We seek a compassionate and experienced Tier 2 Sponsored Senior Community Care Worker (Senior Carer) to join our team. This role is specifically tailored for individuals sponsored under the Tier 2 visa scheme with the requisite skills and expertise to provide exceptional care and support to individuals within the community, particularly those in need of advanced care and personalized attention. As a Tier 2 Sponsored Senior Community Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality care services while inspiring and guiding a team of care workers.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise a team of care workers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of exceptional care services.
2. Conduct comprehensive care assessments and develop personalized care plans for clients, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and support networks.
3. Oversee the implementation of care plans, ensuring that clients’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met with sensitivity and respect.
4. Support care workers in delivering personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, and provide assistance with complex care needs as required.
5. Monitor and manage medication administration, ensuring adherence to prescribed regimens and accurate documentation.
6. Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care delivery.
7. Conduct regular reviews of care plans and client progress, adapting support strategies as necessary to promote the well-being and independence of clients.
8. Maintain accurate and detailed care records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Requirements:
1. Sponsored under the Tier 2 visa scheme and eligible to work as a Senior Community Care Worker (Senior Carer) in the United Kingdom.
2. Proven experience in a senior care role within a home care, residential care, or community support setting.
3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a care team, while fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
4. A compassionate and person-centred approach to care, with a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for elderly and vulnerable individuals.
5. Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with the capacity to manage care plans, documentation, and resources effectively.
6. Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in care provision, with a focus on promoting dignity, autonomy, and well-being for clients.
7. Relevant certifications or training in health and social care, first aid, manual handling, and medication administration (desirable but not essential).
